Chelsea Women have etched their names into football history by completing an unbeaten domestic treble in the 2024–25 season.
Under the guidance of head coach Sonia Bompastor, the Blues secured the Women’s Super League title, the League Cup, and the FA Cup without a single defeat.
The crowning achievement came on May 18, 2025, at Wembley Stadium, where Chelsea won 3–0 over Manchester United in the Women’s FA Cup final. French winger Sandy Baltimore was instrumental, scoring twice and assisting a goal.
Chelsea’s domestic campaign was extraordinary as they finished the 22-game Women’s Super League season unbeaten, setting a new record with 60 points—the highest ever by a single team in the competition’s history. This achievement marked their sixth consecutive league title and eighth overall.
In addition to their league success, Chelsea clinched the League Cup and the FA Cup, completing the treble without a single domestic loss across 30 matches.
This feat has not been achieved in English women’s football since Arsenal’s 2000–01 season.
The 2024–25 season begun with Chelsea appointing Sonia Bompastor as head coach following Emma Hayes’ departure. This makes Bompastor the first manager since Laura Harvey to win the WSL title in her inaugural season.
Chelsea will seek to translate their domestic dominance unto European stages as the team saw their Champions League campaign end in the semi-finals against Barcelona.
With a blend of experienced leadership, emerging talent, and substantial investment, Chelsea Women are poised to continue their ascent in both domestic and international football.
