Following clashes between Commonwealth hall and Mensah Sarbah hall all of the University of Ghana, which led to the destruction of properties, the university council has reached a decision to relieve the Hall Master and the Senior Tutor of their duties in the interim. This takes place while management works with the security services to investigate the clashes, and work to find solutions to it.
Additionally, the JCR Presidents of both halls will be referred to the disciplinary committee for Junior Members.
An online portal has been made available for submission of tips, names, documents, pictures and other files which can help to aid the investigations.
